Web Design Process Step 1: Information Gathering
W3Trends is a Houston, Texas web design company that specializes in custom web site development and ecommerce web site design. In order to provide our customers with the most effective websites possible, it is imperative that we completely understand their business. We need to know everything that can possibly be used to help us pull customers away from your competitors.
- Who is your target audience?
- Do you need your website to sell products? (E Commerce Web Design)
- What are your strengths and weaknesses? What about your competition?
- What do you like or dislike about your competitors’ websites?
- How can we design this website to make running your business more efficient or easier?
After we have all of the information that we need, we will put together a few design proposals and a general timeline based on all of the requirements agreed to during our previous discussions with you.
Web Design Process Step 2: Concept Design
During this step in the process, W3trends' professional designers will use the information and materials supplied by you to create several design concepts. This will typically require at least 1 week. Once we have selected concept, we will make any necessary revisions. It is important to W3trends that you do not "settle" on a website and that you are 100% satisfied with your investment. We will not proceed until you are completely comfortable with the final web design concept.
Web Design Process Step 3: Website Development and Testing
During this step, the actual website is assembled utilizing industry best SEO practices. In most cases this will take about two to three (2-3) weeks. Complexity of the website, additions/revisions, and the time it takes to receive all content and images from our clients, each can significantly affect how long this development process ultimately lasts.
Web Design Process Step 4: Publishing Your Website
Once the website is complete, you will have time to review the content and submit any and all corrections. This process will take 2 - 3 days at most. Once these corrections have been made, the website will be published and made available on the internet.
